Intercontinental Christian Academy is a schooled owned and run by Pastor Bonaventure .I. Achinefu and is a school with a difference among equals. It is founded based on Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child the way he should grow, and when he is old he will not depart from it”.
The school therefore is serving both God and humanity in this capacity. Like many other organizations, the school has a definite body of rules and regulations that guids its operations. It is desired that all operators abide by the rules.
Time: Timing is a major guiding principle in every serious minded activity. The school begins at 7:45am with the morning assembly to receive instructions for a particular day. Furthermore, the students observe a long break each school day. The school closes for the day at 2:00pm. Afternoon lessons starts by 2:10pm and end by 3:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Discipline: Discipline is the bedrock of every well-run business. The school takes discipline very seriously.
- No student will form or belong to any secret cult in the school.
- Truancy will not be allowed. No crossing the gate after entering until after dismissal, unless with permission.
- No absence from school without written permission from the school authority
- Examination malpractice of any type will not be tolerated.
Clothing
- All students wear the prescribed school uniform. For girls; sky blue shirt on black skirt/pinafore, for boys; sky blue shirt on black knickers/trousers. In addition, black sandals, black socks, black jacket and black belt. The black beret is optional for girls. Boys do not wear beret as girls do not wear belt.
- Wearing of earrings, bangles and necklaces are not allowed, Full stops may be allowed for girls only.
- Female students are not allowed to put on trousers for any occasion in the school.
Fighting
- Fighting is strictly prohibited in and around the school premises.
- Bullying is not allowed.
- Extorting money or other valuables will not be tolerated at all.
Academics
- Any student who fails a class is bound to repeat the class.
- To be promoted, a student must pass English language and/or Mathematics.
- All assignments and tests must be completed.
- All fees should be completely paid on or before fourth weekend of
resumption.
